Multiple times VP1 Aila von Fritz, UD, RE, CGC, TDI, a VA1 Rikkor von Bad-Boll daughter, is not a breeding female but she still deserves her own special place on this site, and in our hearts. Aila's show career was going better than we ever expected when we were devastated with the news that she has hip dysplasia. In spite of others urging us to send her back to her breeder, we simply loved her too much. Our dogs are just not expendable, what we love, we love for life. Her hip is not so bad that she can't be a performance dog, so she competes in AKC obedience, AKC rally, Jr. showmanship with my daughter, and she is one heck of a personal protection dog! Our situation with her has greatly shaped the way we offer our guarantees, our dogs live in our home, they are not "stock", they are not commoditites, they are beloved family members.
